I’m leading a poetry course at The English Bookshop in Stockholm! Registration is full, but you’re welcome to follow along on social media (@mimmble) to see if I’m doing anything else fun in the future.

This is a cross-disciplinary course, with a focus on engaging poetically with the visual arts. Ekphrastic poetry, museum visits, and zine making are key parts of this workshop.

Harn Museum of Art – 2019 - 2020

Working closely with poet and artist, Debora Greger, as well as with the Assistant Curator of Asian Art, I composed haiku, renga, and sijo in collaboration with the art displayed in the Harn’s Tempus Fugit and Everyday to the Extraordinary exhibitions, which were performed at a Gallery Talk on February 2020, and remained on display in the Asian Wing.

The museum held its first-ever virtual Museum Nights on October 2020, during which I had the opportunity to teach viewers about poetry.

I educated peers and visitors alike about poetry throughout my residency as well, helping build audience engagement, of course, but also finding new moments to spark joy in the museum evironment.
